The majority of these portraits are autobots. For the first generation of G1 robots, there seemed to be a lot more autobots than decepticons. Furthermore, some robots had special gimmicks which I produced a short list below. For the second generation (Rodimus-Galvatron age), the number of memorable autobot characters were cut down significantly, and I don’t remember any of them having special gimmicks any more.
Gimmicks of characters as I remember:
Autobots:
Mirage: invisibility mode. A very useful skill which allowed Mirage to go behind enemy’s back and steal stuff, such as Megatron’s cannon.
Trailbreaker: energy barrier. A strong defensive skill. Defensor’s energy barrier was probably an upgraded version of Trailbreaker’s.
Hound: hologram projection. A skill that fooled decepticons a couple of times.
Ironhide and Cliffjumper: Both of them seemed to have the skill to shoot out cement that was sticky and turned into solid quickly, effectively immobilizing anyone touching it. They also used this skill to build houses for humans. Maybe that was the original purpose of this skill…autobots were domestic robots for Quitessons, after all.
Jazz: Very loud jazz music played from super horns? Well, it seems that everyone’s afraid of it.
Decepticons:
Skywarp: teleport (only over a short distance). Goku’s teleporting in Dragonball was cool, but not here. He only used it a few times throughout the cartoon.
Starscream: Neon rays, his special weapon. It’s not very clear how it’s special. Judging from the story, it seemed to be circuit paralyzing?
Rumble and Frenzy: Earthquake. Their powerful hammers could make cracks on the earth that were big enough to swallow cars. It’s impressive and overpowered really.
这里的肖像大多数是汽车人。G1的第一代机器人里，汽车人的数量似乎比霸天虎多得多，而且有些人有自己的特殊技能，我在下面列了一张表。到了第二代(补天士惊破天时代)，有名字的汽车人角色的数量大幅减少了，而且我也不记得他们有谁具有特殊技能。
我记得的有特殊技能的角色：
汽车人：
幻影：隐形模式。十分有用的技能，幻影可以靠这个潜入敌后，盗取东西，比如威震天手上的大炮。
开路先锋：能量罩。这是个强力的防御技能，不过后来守护神的能量罩应该是更强的升级版。
探长：全息投影。这个太有用了，好几次骗得霸天虎团团转。
铁皮和飞过山：他们好像都能射出水泥一样的东西，粘性很强而且很快凝固，任何被它粘住的敌人都动弹不得。他们也曾经用这个技能给人类盖房子。也许这个技能本来就是盖房子用的…汽车人本来是五面怪的民用机器人么。
爵士：用超大喇叭放超响的爵士乐？大概跟狮子吼原理差不多，反正人人都怕这招。
霸天虎：
闹翻天：短距离瞬间移动。龙珠里面孙悟空的瞬间移动很有用，但是这里不然，在整部动画片里闹翻天使用瞬间移动的次数都是屈指可数。
红蜘蛛：氖射线，红蜘蛛的特殊武器。到底怎么特殊则不是很清楚，似乎能麻痹机器人的电路？
轰隆隆和迷乱：地震。他们的强力锤击可以在地表造成足以吞噬汽车的大裂缝。这招给人印象深刻，而且有点太强了吧。
