Triple changers || 三变形
Three autobots, three decepticons. Octane was shifty though. In one episode, it seemed that he shifted to the autobot side and was walking with Sandstorm. Then he was hunted by Cyclonus and Sweeps as a traitor and fled into the decepticon cemetery, where Starscream’s ghost showed up and helped him. Then in later episodes he fought by Galvatron’s side again.
A little bit story of Blitzwing: in the “Five faces of horror” episodes (the first several episodes after the 1986 movie), Blitzwing found out that the Quintessons were not really helping Galvatron to get the decepticon matrix and re-take Cybertron, and their true plan was to destroy all transformers. But Galvatron wouldn’t listen to him. So Blitzwing teamed up with autobots to stop Quitessons’ plan. After that he became tired of war and tried to push Galvatron to give up his war on autobots. Galvatron then expelled him from the decepticon army. Blitzwing was never seen in the cartoon afterwards.

闪电的一点故事：紧接着1986年大电影之后，在电视动画片的“五面怪”几集里，闪电发现五面怪并不是真的想帮助惊破天找到霸天虎模块和夺回赛博坦，他们真正的计划是消灭所有的变形金刚。但是惊破天不相信他，所以闪电只好和汽车人一起阻止五面怪的阴谋。之后闪电表现出对战争的厌倦，并想逼迫惊破天放弃对汽车人的战争。惊破天把他踢出了霸天虎的队伍，在那以后闪电就再也没在动画片里出现了。
Dinobots || 机器恐龙
Being both powerful and cute, dinobots are all time stars. Grimlock was a superstar in the late stage of G1 cartoons. He created Computron, and saved the universe from Tornedron.
机器恐龙既很强也很萌，一直都是深受喜爱吧。钢锁在G1后期更是超级巨星，他创造了计算王，还从蝎子精手里拯救了宇宙。
Insecticons || 机器昆虫
They were impressive when they first showed up, but they weren’t nearly as popular as dinobots. Bombshell was turned into Cyclonus by Unicron in the 1986 movie, while some other insecticons were turned into sweeps.
机器昆虫第一次出场还是令人印象深刻的，但是人气远远比不上机器恐龙。在1986年的电影里，炸弹被宇宙大帝改造成了狂飙，其它一些机器昆虫成了扫荡队员。
Battle scenes || 战斗场景
I have to point out that the above battle picture of triple changers has a problem. Broadside is in fact, a giant robot, who should be much bigger than the other triple changers. If one watches the cartoon carefully, it should be apparent that he was set as a giant. For example, in Episode 93 “The burden hardest to bear”, Broadside was seen fighting both Devastator and Predaking:

Broadside is on the left. Devastator and Predaking are on the right.
左边是排炮，右边是大力神和冲云霄。
Broadside didn’t show up often in the cartoon, but you can find more evidence if you watch the few episodes he was in.
排炮出场不多，但是只要你看一看他出场的那几集动画片，就能找到更多证据。
